There are plenty of things to love about Paris – it’s a dream destination for millions of people around the world for a reason: art, culture, food, architecture… everyone’s in love with a different aspect of “La Ville-Lumière”. For this band, though, we were inspired by a lesser-known source of French pride: cartography. The drawing of maps is a highly respected, 7 century-long tradition in France. In fact, the French knack for creating accurate and artistic maps directly contributed to their prominence during the Age of Exploration.
