It’s tricky to sum up the spirit of a city like Los Angeles in such a small space – after all, this is a place where you can hike, ski and surf all in the same day… The longer we searched, the more we realised that there is no single image that could capture all the cultures and subcultures that call L.A. their home. In the end, we (literally) zoomed out, and used the city’s iconic skyline – one of the few places on earth where palm trees somehow don’t look out of place next to steel skyscrapers.
