Berlin
We've got your back
The last century has seen the city of Berlin transform time and time again. This city has been at the epicentre of some of the most profound moments in modern history, and the famous Alexanderplatz remains a resilient reminder of this. In the 1920’s, this public square sat at the heart of Berlin’s nightlife scene – a reputation it enjoyed well into the ‘30’s. The subsequent decades saw it transform into an eclectic and emotionally charged patchwork of socialist Brutalist architecture, sleek modernity and historical reverence. On November 4th, 1989, it was the location of the largest peaceful protest in modern European history; cementing its reputation as a hub of progress and change. We created a collage of photos taken around the Platz as the basis for our Berlin band.
